"Monthly Avril" Oct08 "Girlfriend"

        "Girlfriend", another song that lets me know Avril Lavigne, is also the one I like most from all Avril’s creations, although I think Avril sings soft and slow songs is much better.

         So why do I like this song? First, I don't exaggerate, it is explosive and startling. In the very beginning of the song, the lyrics: "Hey! Hey! You! You! I don't like your girlfriend!" which is a part of chorus startles me and draws my attention. In addition to the strong background music and wonderful echoes (especially the drum), "Girlfriend" is qualified enough to be the main recommended music in the album of "The Best Damn Thing".

         Another reason why I love this song is because it is only for Avril to sing. The original style of it is only suitable for Avril. It is born to be Avril's own music. No one can replace Avril's position in this song. Also for the song "The Best Damn Thing", they are reserved for Avril.
