"Monthly Avril" May09 "I Will Be"

       If you often read this column, you will find that I prefer Avril's soft songs more. If I can give a level for this song, I think it is top three of all soft songs, just below "Innocence" and "When You're Gone".

        The main reason I like this song is the remarkable melody. As a pop song, its chorus should be perfect. Otherwise, it cannot be a good song. In this incredible song, I think the one which is perfect is not only the chorus, but also all the verses and pre-chorus bridges. That means the whole song is wonderful.

        It is unforgettable also. Its unforgettableness, of course, is just below "Innocence" and "When You're Gone". When I get the lyrics, I can comprehend the background music and melody. The only one point I dislike the song is that the words of every chorus and pre-chorus bridges are different. This is complicated for me to memorize the lyrics. However, this will be another advantage of the song---there are lots of variations and changing in it.

        This is surely another song I strongly recommend you to listen to. Have a try!
